Aside from the case of African-American George Floy, which is currently taking the United States by storm and being exposed around the world, Raja Athletic Club (RCA) has chosen a better way to express its respect for diversity and difference.
Indeed, the official page of the Raja published an image of young footballers from sub-Saharan Africa playing for the club, with the following comment: “This club belongs to the Moroccan people. It belongs to people everywhere. It belongs to humanity.”
This remarkable message, “of great wisdom,” in the words of one sports commentator, appears to have been appreciated by thousands and shared hundreds of times on social networks.
