Donald Trump: A Second Arab Country Signs a “Peace Agreement” with Israel

The American President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain have reached a “peace agreement”.

“Another HISTORICAL breakthrough today! Our two BIG friends, Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain, have reached a peace agreement – the second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days! “announced the U.S. President on Twitter.

“President Donald J. Trump, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Bin Salman al-Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel met today and agreed to establish full diplomatic relations between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain,” said a joint statement by the United States, Israel and Bahrain shared by President Trump.

“This is a historic step towards the pursuit of peace in the Middle East. The opening of direct dialogue and ties between these two dynamic societies and advanced economies will continue the positive transformation of the Middle East and increase stability, security and prosperity in the region,” the statement said.

According to the same source, the Kingdom of Bahrain has accepted an invitation from President Trump to join Israel and the United Arab Emirates at a “historic ceremony” next Tuesday at the White House, during which Prime Minister Netanyahu and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif al Zayani will sign a “Declaration of Peace”.
