Coronavirus: Morocco Declares State of Health Emergency

The Ministry of the Interior has just announced that the state of sanitary emergency is declared in Morocco with restriction of the social interactions as from this Friday, March 20 at 18h00, until further notice, “as the only unavoidable means to keep the Coronavirus under control”.

The state of health emergency does not mean the cessation of economic activity but the taking of exceptional measures imposing the limitation of the movement of citizens, it is said from the same source.

Leaving the home will be conditional on obtaining an official document from the enforcement agents.
