It should be noted that the Arab music fans discovered Mohamed Rifi during his participation in the program “X Factor” on the channel “Rotana”. He won the title despite the great artistic and media controversy between, on the one hand, those who felt that he really deserved it because of his exceptional voice and distinguished interpretation and, on the other hand, those who considered that his performance was rather average and that only the support of Hussein Al Jasmi (in whose team he was competing), allowed him to win the title.
