
The Egyptian actress Raja Al Jadawi died on Sunday in a private hospital in the city of al Ismailia at the age of 82 after a fight with Covid-19.
Raja Al Jadawi was born in 1938 in the same city where she died. She attended a French school in Cairo and began her career in an advertising agency before turning to television, cinema and theater. A star was then born with notable roles in several series, full-length films and plays.
Her appearances in the film “Al Zaïm” alongside Adil Imam, made her a famous star throughout the Arab world.
Raja Al Jadawi was filming a series, “The Game of Oblivion” when she caught the virus. She will be remembered as a talented actress and a lady of great class.
